Goodles Anniversary Promo on Wed, 24 Nov

Get three of Goodles' bestselling flavors and celebrate their 1st anniversary with them! On November 24, 2010, you can get the Pesto Cream al Funghi from 11am to 2pm, the Seven Layer Lasagna from 3pm to 6pm, and the Grape Carbonara from 6pm to 9pm -- only for P100 per tub. These flavors will be sold for their promo price only during the given times, after which they will go back to their original prices.

Promo is available only on November 24, 2010, Wednesday, from 11am to 9pm for dine-in and takeaway orders only. Delivery orders made through Quick Delivery (via 212 1212) will get a free order of iced tea for a minimum purchase of P500. Bulk orders will be accepted in advance; just call the Goodles hotline at (63) 922 873 7758.

3-day birthday celebration

DAY 1

on his actual birthday, k and i celebrated it together with a hearty breakfast at home (with all our favorites - scrambled eggs, bacon, spam, freshly-squeezed orange juice, garlic rice) before we left for work. we were off to a good start! :)

when i got home after work, we had cake and ice cream with our staff.





then we left for dinner, still undecided where to go (yung walang traffic!) until we decided to go to the eastwood mall. there we finally decided (after checking out momo, thai kitchen, CCA, italianni's, le creperie, cyma) to go to:



mainly because of the ginormous baby back ribs that i had before when i went there with gilda and celine. :)

everything was good except for the complimentary lava cake hehe libre na nga e nagreklamo pa!

DAY 2

jo and aileen had a birthday gift for k: tickets to harry potter and the deathly hallows! :)



the movie was OK, save for the naked harry and hermione scene. soooo awkward!

DAY 3:

we checked into the astoria for a small dinner party with friends.

last saturday, i took the bus home from edsa taft as the queue at the MRT station was too damn long.

i was pleasantly surprised to be issued this receipt.

the last time i rode a bus, i got those colorful tickets pa na pina-punch pa ni mamang konduktor. :D

pacquiao beat margarito to a pulp, but the brave mexican made it to the 12th round. i heard he had to undergo surgery for a fractured orbital bone.





unanimous decision for world's eighth wonder (who also bore the brunt of margarito's punchse, but nevertheless given a clean bill of health post-fight). :)

on sunday, we have to wake up really early to be in timog before 7am in order to get good seats.

after we've settled, we have breakfast. then the drinking starts.

our first tree

last year was our first Christmas as husby and wifey, but we kinda skipped the decor part. we were too busy planning and entertaining guests who travelled for the wedding; then we went on honeymoon. we were checked into hotels with both sides of the family for the most part of the holidays anyway. not much time in between to go malling and such.

so this year, we finally got a tree.



still a work-in-progress. we plan to put up more decor after k's birthday. :)
