The mommies who want What To Expect books

i joined the online contest of topaz mommy and she featured all of us who joined in her blog entry here. all moms are beautiful, noh? :)

-------------------------

I was having a little conversation on Twitter some time ago with some mommies who brought up this annoying tidbit: When people say you look like a mom, they don't mean that as a compliment.

Well, looking at my mommy friends and at the photos of the mommies who joined my book giveaway sponsored by WhatToExpect.com, I think moms make the best looking women ever!

There's nothing like love and happiness to light up a woman's face and add a twinkle to her eye!

Mommies, thank you for joining my contest. I announce the winners tomorrow. Have a great weekend!

congratulations to all the winners! :)

kapitolyo foodie post: cha time

this milk tea place is just beside the supermarket k and i go to. the first time we went, we were quite curious lang about the lines in the front of the counter (yep, to the point na masikip na sa loob!) so we joined in. k loves the pearl milk tea, sa akin OK lang. dami na kasi nilang nagsusulputan e nako-confuse na ang taste buds ko kung alin ang masarap. :P

we order the drinks we are familiar with - pearl milk tea, fresh milk with grass jelly (for me), and recently, taro milk tea (for me. wasn't a fan of the taro bits). i'll stick to the pearl milk tea, for now!

dati, drinks lang. now they have munchies!

one can make "healthier" choices ;)

a weekend at canyon woods, tagaytay part 1

for kirsten's 6th month and my dad-in-law's birthdays, we trooped to canyon woods where the air is fresh and the weather chilly! and we loved it!

here we are all gathered for dinner. notice that kirsten is about to lunge at the cake haha! and the R in her name has left it's place. mahirap magdikit sa kurtina talaga! :P

there was a cool breeze all night so we dressed her up in pants, long sleeved top and a bonnet to keep her warm. :)

aaawwww. she loves to cuddle like that.

we had an exchange of gifts that night. you see, we picked out names a while back and had each person write down what he/she wants to receive - and these shall be bought in red! :) will share that activity in another post.

the next morning, we planned to give her her first solid meal!

am i really ready, dad??

i can do this, right dad!?

her first morning breakfast

hmmmm. what are you guys trying to feed moi???

pffftthhh...

uggh. (look at us hehe so proud of this moment!)

then she decided OK, it's not so bad at all!

after a few licks, she closed her mouth, not letting the spoon pass her lips. she certainly knows how to let us know she has had enough! smart girl! :)

stay tuned for part 2 of our weekend getaway! :)
