w@w prenup number 2 - jayson arquiza, redefine weddings

personally, i think jayson arquiza is one of the most talented wedding photographers in the industry. he simply captures those amazing moments, naturally! hindi posey-posey, hindi scripted.

that's why when we were invited to the w@w prenup event, i asked K to make pila with jayson first. :) he's so funny, candid, down-to-earth, masarap maging photographer! he makes couples feel at ease, and he thinks before he shoots! that's what k liked about him, hindi puro point and shoot lang. he really composes a shot, nakakatuwa syang tingnan habang nag-iisip hehe :)

all that being said, here are some photos taken during the w@w prenups at fernwood gardens, alabang. i copied these from their (his and wifey joanne) new site, jaysonandjoanne.com.

we love jayson arquiza! it was indeed a privilege to work with one of the industry's best. :)

w@w ten ten te 10 party part 1

k and i joined the w@w anniversary party at fernbrook gardens, alabang. the place was beautiful! we had free prenup pictorials (photos to be uploaded soon) in the afternoon then a party in the evening, with cecilio abad awarded as the top 1 supplier for 2008.

we had so much fun posing for the photobooths, here are two (there were 6, i think!) of them:

my k and i had so much fun posing for the photographers, hopping from one photobooth to another, chatting with fellow w@wies, enjoyed josiah's food, joy san gabriel's desserts, ordered mojitos from the walking bunnies (girls in short shorts, wearing bunny ears hehe), and tried the coffee bar. suppliers also featured their hidden talents through singing and dancing (i thoroughly enjoyed the HMUAs dancing to beyonce's single ladies). overall, it was a wonderful evening! kudos to benz and john rana for organizing such a big event! thank you for inviting us! :)

let's shop for a husband!

one night i had a dream.

husband mart, a store that sells husbands, has just opened near my apartment. it is where a girl may go to choose a husband from among many men. the store is comprised of 6 floors, and the men increase in positive attributes as the shopper ascends the flights. there is, however, a catch. as you open the door to any floor you may choose a man from that floor, but if you go up a floor, you cannot go back down except to exit the building. so a woman goes to the shopping center to find a husband.

excited as i was, i couldn't wait to check it out. i wore my cutest pink outfit and off i went.

on the 1st floor the sign on the door reads: floor 1 - these men have jobs. i read the sign and say to myself, "well, that's better than my last boyfriend, but i wonder what's further up?" so up i go.

the 2nd floor sign reads: floor 2 - these men have jobs and love, kids. i say to myself, "that's great, but i wonder what's further up?" and up i go again.

the 3rd floor sign reads: floor 3 - these men have jobs, love kids and are extremely good looking. "hmmm, better" i say. "but i wonder what's upstairs?"

the 4th floor sign reads: floor 4 - these men have jobs, love kids, are extremely good looking and help with the housework. "wow! very tempting! BUT, there must be more further up!" and again i head up another flight.

the 5th floor sign reads: floor 5 - these men have jobs, love kids, are extremely good looking, help with the housework and have a strong romantic streak. "oh, mercy me! but just think. what must be awaiting me further on?" so up to the sixth floor i go.

the 6th floor sign reads: floor 6 - you are visitor 3,456,789,015 to this floor. there are no men on this floor. this floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please. thank you for shopping husband mart and have a nice day!

i was so upset that it woke me up! and then i realized it was only a dream. whew!

good thing i stopped at the 5th floor! :)

(this joke was taken off the internet and revised by me. to the author - you have a wicked sense of humor!)

bridal stores in bugis area

two stores on the same street as our hotel.

and yes, i went to check things out with them haha!

singapore weekend with dad

voi-lah! we're in singapore! :)

there are so many reasons why i love singapore. the sights, the sounds, the people... and the food! ah, i can live on chicken rice for a looong time. :)

cebu/bohol weekend part 1

we came, we saw, we conquered. :)

one day in cebu, 3 days in bohol. return to cebu on the last day for flight back to manila. absolute bliss!

for 8 hours, we toured the site where lapu-lapu killed magellan, taoist temple, magellan's cross, the basilica, plantation bay, and ayala center cebu. we loved the mall! had dinner at moon cafe (yum!) together with dad's relatives, then coffee at starbucks. parang manila lang. ;)

dad and me, jo (taking the photo heehee), her tatay, jimmi, and lapu-lapu.

more photos to follow, as most are not yet downloaded. will update this post soon. :)

cebu is already highly urbanized, and ma-traffic. not really my kind of vacation spot (unless i go to mactan side where the beaches are). we all preferred the sun, sea, and sand, trees and hills, fishes and water set up, so off we go to bohol! ;)
