two weddings

last weekend, we attended 2 weddings of my former colleagues from crown relocations.

wedding number 1 - 16 dec, friday at the glass garden. hazel and her fiance don came home from canada to tie the knot here.



wedding number two - 18 dec, sunday at club balai isabel in batangas. karol and arvin went home from singapore to get married there.





it was drizzling and gloomy in the morning, but just before the wedding the sun came out! what a blessing!





iwas asked to give an impromptu toast during the reception haha! hope it turned out OK in the video!



we stayed overnight and enjoyed the fresh air in batangas.



















this was kirsten's first out of town trip. she was very behaved in the car, except when she was hungry or sleepy hehe

what a weekend! we're off to spend christmas in roxas on thursday. happy holidays, everyone! :)

we celebrated a day before with a dinner at heat, edsa shangri-la.

oh, and that's new my boss. he's 28, and the new crush ng bayan. he absolutely hates the attention haha (he's terribly nice about it though!)!

no more wawa in the bath

yesterday, 11 december 2011, our kirsten didn't cry during her bath. not one bit.


this was her first sponge bath in the hospital, 2 days after birth. she absolutely hated it.


all bundled up after her bath. soooo cute! :)

at home, she starts to cry the second i put her in the baby tub.



uh oh. i'm about to start crying na!!!

a little time after, she'd cry when i splash some water on her feet.



more bath time after, she'd start crying when i sponge her neck.

a few more and still, she'd cry when i start to wet her hair.

but after each bath, when she's all dried up and dressed, she's fine. here she is enjoying her pink bathrobe.



yesterday, nada. i was actually waiting for her to cringe. but no. she cried AFTER i removed her from the tub and she was already snuggled in her pink towel. maybe she missed the water, i dunno. but yes, no crying during the bath this time. too bad i didn't get to take a photo. i will next time. :)

and did i mention she's too heavy for the infant netting?? i should remove that the next time we prepare her bath.

mommy mundo weekend

we usually spend sundays at malls that are not so crowded - shangrila mall or rockwell. when my dad and sis were here, we brought them to rockwell.
