it was all worth it!!! thank you, Lord for giving us a bright and sunny morning. thank you, benj for the lovely photos! we love shutter count!:)

pre-birthday photoshoot

ok, we have less than 3 weeks to go and i'm panicking! hence the slack in my blog posts. sigh! last tuesday, our pre-event photoshoot finally pushed through. i was teary-eyed already since we left pasig it was really cloudy, then the photog texts me to say "mam, mukhang uulan" at 8:30 am e on the way na kami so i replied, "there's no turning back now. let's see when we get there and hope for the best." then along valle verde and white plains it was raining, but i can see the shine peeking so i prayed REALLY hard for a 1 hour no-rain window oh please God!!! when we got to ninoy aquino parks and wildlife it was drizzling arghhh! but i felt like the sun was following us kasi everytime i would look up it's there! then about 15minutes after we parked, the drizzle stopped. thank you Lord!!! :) we didn't get any shots on our camera since i left my bag in the car and concentrated on making kirsten shoot-ready. stressful! she wasn't in the mood talaga and she was crying na at the end poor baby! k told me, "you know what that's called? exploitation." grrrrr! we had an almost 2hour photoshoot and everytime the photog, benj would make us silip sa camera viewer nya, it looked like we had good shots naman. i am eagerly waiting for the cd and find out if all that preparation and stress was worth it!!! :) anyway, here's the birthday girl laughing at me AFTER the shoot. as in we packed everything up na when she started to crack up. benj fished out his camera to take a few shots of her giggling and smiling to every word, sound or action i say/do, in a t-shirt and diapers.

she's 11 months old today

kapitolyo foodie post: cab café

this was actually our fourth or fifth time at cab. they have pastries, cakes and coffee, you see. :)

and some products from bacolod for sale.

the owner also owns café bob's in bacolod. and the servers/cashier are ilonggo. kasadya! :)

we ordered the kani salad which has a LOT of the roast sesame dressing. i thought it was generous with dressing but too expensive for php200+.

i had the delipinoy pasta, which was good.

k ordered his usual - batchoy. but it was out of stock. so he ordered his black angus burger from nearby charlie's grind and grill heehee

ate a had the sausage (was it chorizo??) meal

they also offer pizza fresh from the oven

the food was ok, nothing special. the cakes are ok as well. :)

the place is cozy, and the staff friendly and helpful.

we're glad we have a place to go for a quick foodie fix that's not kilometers away from home. will definitely give their pizzas a try next time! :) cab café 18 east capitol drive brgy. kapitolyo, pasig city
