the first time i encountered milk tea, it was when my nepalese boss would ask the coffee boy to pour milk over his hot lipton tea. i never tried it, but he said it's good. :)
now taro milk tea (quickly) was available way back when i was in college (i think!) and i have tried it once or twice then. the next time i had it was when a colleague brought me last december 2011. it was good (i like sago and nata de coco, thank you!)!
k and i were curious when cha time opened next to the grocery we frequent, so we went in. and liked what we had. usually it's just the basic milk tea with pearls. :)
then another one, share tea, turned up sa kabilang kanto. we tried it, but have not gone back again. we like cha time more, i guess.
i tried happy lemon at megamall, same same. i dunno. can't really tell the difference haha! *can't find the photo i took*
last night, we were on our way to starbucks when i saw the gong cha stall. we tried their milk teas. OK lang. :)

i see them as an alternative to the usual frapuccinos - less fat (no whipped cream), less sugar (i usually choose the 30% sugar option). and they're the craze everywhere. let's see how long they last. :)
