second opinion

upon arrival in manila, we headed home just to rest up a bit then drove to the medical city. we just had to have her checked again, given the experience we had in roxas.



a pedia saw us, checked on her and asked me details, and concluded that if she had pneumonia, it was resolving. she didn't hear anything when she checked her lungs (?). she also advised us tostop the other meds and see our pedia first. she also asked us to give azithromax until a certain day, earlier than what dr. r ordered.

here's dad laughing at me, i guess. we all had a sigh of relief, as we were actually ready to have her admitted! we had overnight bags in the car! :)

i was actually calling and updating her pedia, dr. a, in manila while we were in roxas. on the day we got discharged, he was doubtful that kc had pneumonia. he asked us to bring all tests and xray results (including the film) to him on 2 jan 2012, his first day of clinic in the new year.

good to know our baby's on her way to recovery. there's always a first time for everything, and this was not a good first time - first hospital admission. :(
