our phantom experience

we bought the tickets months before. i tried hard to keep it away from kirsten's prying hands or else they'd end up into itty bitty little pieces! :D

and the day (night?) has come! the girls and i met at the office and took a cab to ccp.

dinner was at the chicken rice shop (halata bang excited kami??).

we overheard the people talking at the next table that the ccp entrance opens at 7:00 pm. we couldn't wait to walked over to ccp!

a lot of people were waiting at the sidelines to have their photo taken here. there was no actual queue, basta pag may naunang pumwesto e stand by muna yung iba

see that crowd??

photos were taken with a camera phone. i had my camera with me but while we were taking photos, a ccp lady security (?) came over and asked me to surrender it to her and just claim it after the show.

the chicas are all smiles at the phantom of the opera!

i was only able to this single shot of the stage with the chandelier still on the ground as the usherettes kept asking us not to take photos!

the show was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! superb performances, sound and lighting, orchestra, costumes, everything! it was really a dream come true to be able to watch this musical. thank you to concertus manila for bringing them here!

and of course, thank you andrew lloyd webber!

there was a gallery of photos from the musical in the hallway and we took photos there as well.

and of course, we cannot leave without getting our souvenirs!

here are the chicas contemplating their purchases. :)

the souvenir items were freaking expensive! i got a cap for k (php500) and a keychain for myself (php200). i wanted to get t-shirts but they were very pricey at php800.

   here i was wearing k's cap. ;)

we couldn't resist taking photos at the huge banner outside ccp.

we went to grab coffee at starbucks before hailing a cab home. it was an awesome night with my chicas!

til our next musical! :)
